Mooney joins the executive leadership team at a pivotal time, tasked with driving OneMain’s people agenda and supporting the company’s commitment to a mission-driven, inclusive workplace culture. She will oversee all facets of HR, championing talent development, cultural transformation, and strategic growth across the organization’s nationwide footprint.
Mooney brings over two decades of senior HR leadership experience, most recently as SVP HR North America at Mondelēz International, where she led strategic initiatives impacting thousands of employees across the region. Prior to her tenure at Mondelēz International, Mooney served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Keystone Foods, leading HR transformation and talent strategies through significant change and industry consolidation.
Her earlier career includes an extensive nine-year stint at The Hershey Company, where she held several leadership roles including Vice President HR – North America, Vice President, Total Rewards, and Vice President, Global Human Resources. Mooney has also contributed as Sr. Director, Talent Capability at The Dannon Company and built a strong HR foundation during her decade-long tenure at Unilever North America.
In addition to her corporate roles, Mooney has been a Board Member and Chair of the Compensation Committee at NextUp (Network of Executive Women), underlining her commitment to advancing women in leadership. Her multifaceted experience in HR strategy, talent capability, and organizational transformation makes her exceptionally qualified to lead OneMain Financial’s people agenda into the future.
