Netherlands, October 2024 – Karin Valente has been appointed as the Head of People at Shiftbase, where she will lead the company’s people strategy as it continues to scale and grow in the workforce management software industry. Karin will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies that enhance employee experience, talent acquisition, leadership development, and company culture.
Before joining Shiftbase, Karin held the role of Head of HR – Global at i3D.net – A Ubisoft Company, where she was responsible for overseeing HR operations across France, North America, and APAC. During her tenure, Karin led significant organizational transformations, talent management initiatives, and performance management strategies.
Prior to that, she served as the Head of Human Resources at i3D.net in Rotterdam, where she was instrumental in building HR processes for a growing organization, focusing on HR operations, people development, and employee engagement.
Karin also worked as a Senior HR Advisor/Business Partner at Stats Perform, where she aligned HR practices with business objectives in a tech startup environment. She played a key role in organizational development and was responsible for managing HR functions critical to the company’s growth.
Earlier in her career, Karin served as an HR Advisor at Global Sports Media, where she managed finance, office management, and HR operations, advancing into a full HR business partner role. Her broad experience in shaping company culture and ensuring HR alignment with business goals has made her a dynamic leader in the field.
