Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, United States, October 2024 – K&B Global has recently appointed Kate Johnson as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective September 2024. In this role, Kate will be responsible for driving HR strategy, talent management, and organizational transformation as part of K&B Global’s mission to deliver cutting-edge advisory services. Her role will involve leading HR operations and ensuring a people-first culture within the organization.
Kate Johnson brings over a decade of extensive HR leadership experience across various sectors. Prior to joining K&B Global, she served as Corporate & Brand Strategy TA Leader at Scout Motors Inc. for nearly two years, where she played a key role in leading corporate recruitment and building brand strategy.
Before Scout Motors, Kate founded Bounce Talent, where she operated as a consultant and coach. During her tenure from June 2022 to August 2024, she successfully advised small and mid-market Chief People Officers and executives on recruiting challenges, while coaching over 50 career-changers and underrepresented minorities to secure top offers.
Her previous roles also include Head of US Talent Acquisition at Revature, and Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Hyundai Motor Group, where she was instrumental in recruiting key leadership roles and scaling workforce growth.
Additionally, Kate held leadership positions at FMI as a Talent Acquisition Manager, where she pioneered diversity recruitment initiatives and overhauled recruitment processes. She also authored a playbook on leveraging identity in the workplace, titled “Pull Yourself Together,” published during her time with New Degree Press.
