Columbus, Ohio, May 2024 – Kathryn Rainieri has taken on a new role as Vice President, Human Resources at Designer Brands. In this position, Kathryn will lead the human resources function, driving strategic HR initiatives and fostering a dynamic work environment.
Kathryn Rainieri has been with Designer Brands for over eight years, where she has held various significant roles. Before her current position, she served as Senior Director, Human Resources and Director, Human Resources, where she was instrumental in shaping HR strategies and initiatives. Kathryn also held the role of Senior Human Resources Manager, contributing to the company’s HR operations and employee engagement.
Prior to joining Designer Brands, Kathryn worked at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse for nearly ten years. She held several positions, including Senior Field HR Manager, Benefits Analyst, Associate HR Generalist, and HR Assistant. Her responsibilities spanned across various HR functions, from field HR management to benefits analysis, showcasing her extensive experience in human resources.
Kathryn’s career began with an internship at Worthington Cylinders, part of Worthington Industries, where she gained foundational HR experience.
