Irvine, California, United States, March 2025 – Terran Orbital Corporation, a global leader in satellite manufacturing and aerospace solutions, has announced the appointment of Kathy Ann MacDougall as Vice President Human Resources. In her new role, Kathy will be responsible for leading the company’s overall human resources strategy with a focus on promoting organizational culture, aligning people practices with business strategy, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
Before joining Terran Orbital, Kathy served as Vice President of Human Resources at PLI Card Marketing Solutions, where she led talent management, organizational development, total rewards, and compliance initiatives for six years. She significantly enhanced the company’s capability by integrating people systems with business objectives.

In addition to her corporate roles, Kathy continues to serve as Adjunct Faculty at Capella University and Southern New Hampshire University, helping build the next generation of HR and business leaders. She also provides consulting expertise through Maitland Partners, Inc., where she specializes in transformational leadership, executive coaching, and organizational development.
Earlier, Kathy held various leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer at Independent Energy Solutions and Human Resource Manager at Luxfer Gas Cylinders, where she contributed to major operational turnarounds, safety enhancements, and HR system implementations. She also served as Vice President of Human Resources at Aptera Motors and Select University Technologies, contributing to cultural transformation and leadership development.
Her extensive HR journey also includes impactful roles at organizations such as Baker Process (EIMCO), Piper Impact, Inc., and the University of Utah, where she built strong HR foundations. Kathy holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and an MBA, underlining her commitment to both academic excellence and practical leadership.
