Perth, Western Australia, Australia, August 2025 – Katie D. has joined Wizard Professional Services as the new Head of People and Culture, taking charge of the company’s people strategy, talent development initiatives, and HR operations. In this role, she will lead cultural transformation and support workforce excellence across Wizard’s expanding service portfolio, which spans IT, business intelligence, workforce management, and pharmacy franchise operations.
Prior to this appointment, Katie served as Human Resources Advisor at NEPEAN, where she contributed to strategic HR planning, employee learning and development, and global HR initiatives. Her work focused on fostering inclusive practices, problem-solving at scale, and supporting leadership through creative HR solutions.
Before her tenure at NEPEAN, Katie held progressive roles at Halliburton for nearly two years, first as Human Resources Operations Partner and then as Human Resources Specialist II. During this time, she managed talent acquisition, policy implementation, and international HR operations. Her role demanded a strong grasp of global HR systems and regulatory compliance, along with a commitment to operational excellence.
Earlier in her career, Katie gained valuable HR operations experience as Human Resources Administrative Coordinator at DTMT Construction, where she worked across HRIS systems, recruitment, and coordination of core HR processes. Her responsibilities supported organizational planning and the implementation of effective people policies.
Katie also brings a legal background to her HR practice, having served in roles such as Private Client Legal Advisor at Right Legal Group and Legal Case Manager at FORTIS LAW LTD, where she advised on estate planning, legal documentation, and administrative law. This early foundation honed her interpersonal, analytical, and compliance-related skills, which continue to inform her people-first approach in HR leadership.
