Santa Ana, California, United States, December 2024 – Kecia Bailey Alexander has been named the Vice President of Human Resources at Think Together, a leading non-profit organization transforming education. In her new role, Kecia will lead HR strategy and operations, focusing on aligning human capital initiatives with Think Together’s mission and its growth-oriented objectives. She will also spearhead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation across the organization.
Kecia Bailey Alexander brings over 20 years of comprehensive HR experience in both public and private sectors. At Think Together, she previously served as Deputy Chief of Human Capital, where she was instrumental in developing a world-class HR function and aligning workforce strategies with organizational growth plans. Her responsibilities included workforce planning, performance management, and executive-level collaboration to drive organizational effectiveness.
Before joining Think Together, Kecia held the role of Regional Human Resources Director at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where she provided strategic HR leadership for global supply chain operations, encompassing customer care centers, distribution hubs, and retail locations. Her tenure at Southern California Edison (SCE) as a Strategic HR Business Partner spanned over a decade, where she led enterprise-wide HR and employee relations initiatives, contributing significantly to organizational change and business continuity strategies.
Earlier in her career, Kecia served as Senior HR Manager at Comcast Cable and held leadership roles in compliance and human resources management at VNA Home Health Hospice and ABB Catalyst Power.
Kecia holds several certifications, including Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP), SHRM Certified HR Professional (SHRM-CP), and Leadership Development & Succession Strategist (LDSS), as well as a Master of Applied Leadership & Management (MALM) degree, and an undergraduate degree in Business Management. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration and Human Resources (DBAHR) degree.
