Brentwood, Tennessee, United States, March 2025 – Ovation Healthcare has announced the appointment of Kila Sweeney as its new Chief People Officer. In her new role, Kila will lead all aspects of people strategy, culture, talent development, and organizational transformation at a time when Ovation Healthcare continues to expand its footprint across the United States.
Kila Sweeney has been with Ovation Healthcare for over a year, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, where she played a key role in shaping workforce strategies and enhancing employee engagement.
Before joining Ovation Healthcare, Kila spent nearly four years at Lifepoint Health, where she held leadership roles including Vice President, Human Resources, and Vice President, Talent Operations for the Central and Mountain Divisions. During her tenure, she led talent transformation initiatives across multiple regions and functions.

Prior to Lifepoint, Kila was with Amedisys for almost two years, where she served as Director, Business Leadership Group, and later as Senior HR Business Partner. At Amedisys, she led strategic HR initiatives that improved retention, workforce productivity, and compensation competitiveness for over 14,000 employees.
Earlier in her career, Kila had a distinguished 11-year tenure at Cigna, including roles as Director of Human Resources and HR Manager for the HealthSpring division. She drove large-scale culture and engagement strategies and played a pivotal role in change management projects focused on operational effectiveness and enterprise-wide transformation.
She began her HR career at FoodBrand LLC, where she worked for eight years as a Human Resources Generalist, gaining hands-on experience in foundational HR practices.
