Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Komerz, the AI-powered platform uniting commerce, marketing, data and distribution, has appointed Shahid Sadiq as Group Chief Financial Officer. The appointment strengthens the company’s executive leadership as it accelerates its global expansion strategy, strategic acquisitions, and AI-powered commerce ecosystem.
As Group Chief Financial Officer, Shahid Sadiq will oversee group finance, capital allocation, investment strategy, fundraising, governance, performance management, and investor relations. He will play a pivotal role in scaling Komerz’s AI-powered commerce platform while supporting the company’s international growth ambitions across its four global hubs.
Shahid brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in finance within the marketing communications industry. Most recently, he served as Global Chief Financial Officer of WPP Specialist Communications and PR, where he led finance across a diverse multi-market portfolio of operating companies. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Operating Officer – EMEA at Geometry Global, following an earlier leadership role as Regional Chief Financial Officer – EMEA at McCann Worldgroup. Throughout his career, he has also served on the boards of listed and private companies as both an advisor and Non-Executive Director.
