Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Kumar Rajiva has been named the Vice President – India, GID at NTT Global Data Centers, a leader in the data center and cloud services industry. In this pivotal role, Kumar will leverage his nearly three decades of expertise in construction project management and corporate leadership to enhance NTT’s data center infrastructure and operations in India.
Kumar joins NTT Global Data Centers following a four-year tenure as India Head for DC Construction at Amazon Web Services (AWS). There, he led the construction team responsible for the development and construction of all data centers in India, driving key infrastructure projects in the country.
Prior to AWS, Kumar served as General Manager at TATA Projects Limited, where he oversaw major construction initiatives, delivering impactful results over nearly four years. His leadership extended to high-profile projects during his six-year tenure as Head – Projects with Sahana Group of Companies, where he managed the execution of high-rise and township projects in Mumbai.
Earlier in his career, Kumar held leadership roles in notable organizations, including Sterling Construction System Limited and DLF Laing O’Rourke, focusing on planning and executing large-scale commercial and residential projects. He also spent over a decade with Larsen & Toubro Limited – ECC Division, working on diverse projects across India and the Middle East, including high-rise buildings, industrial developments, and EPC petrochemical projects.
