Baku, Baku Economic Zone, Azerbaijan, October 2025 — The National Aviation Academy (NAA) has appointed Lala Alasgarova as Head of the Human Resources Department. In her new role, Alasgarova will oversee HR strategy, talent acquisition, and organizational development for the academy, supporting its mission to deliver internationally recognized education and training in the aerospace sector.
Alasgarova has been with the National Aviation Academy for nearly 12 years, progressing through various roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as Human Resources Team Lead, where she guided global talent acquisition, recruitment, and organizational culture initiatives.
Prior to that, she worked as a Human Resources Specialist, focusing on recruitment strategies and supporting talent development across the academy. Her earlier career included roles as an Inspector and a Corrector, where she developed her foundations in compliance, employee management, and process support.
Through this journey, Alasgarova has built deep expertise in HR operations, organizational culture, and talent management, positioning her strongly for her new leadership role.
