Her appointment aligns with the company’s re-founding strategy focused on agility, innovation, and customer-driven growth. Soohoo emphasized, “In Lamia, we’ve found a standout marketing leader with a track record of building data-driven, customer-centric teams. Her forward-thinking approach and ability to align marketing strategy with scalable business impact will be a tremendous asset as we accelerate our momentum and lay the foundation for long-term growth.”

Most recently, she led growth marketing at HeliosX, one of the fastest-growing health tech companies in the UK, where she was instrumental in launching multiple brands and driving an eightfold increase in revenue over three years.
Her return to the fintech sector is marked by significant achievements, including her role as a founding team member and SVP of Growth and Strategy at Pangea Money Transfer, where she played a pivotal role in achieving product-market fit and scaling the business. Additionally, she served as CMO at Consentium, a Singapore-based crypto wallet, where she led marketing efforts through a successful $40 million ICO raise.
Expressing her excitement about joining MoneyGram, Pardo said, “There’s tremendous opportunity to bring new energy and growth to the brand, while honoring its rich history, innovative product portfolio and strong relationships with customers around the world. I’m eager to help shape a modern, high-performing marketing organization that always puts the customer at the center.”
Soohoo added, “It feels incredibly fitting that Lamia joins our team on the annual International Day of Family Remittances.
