Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, June 2026 – Latha Sabrish has been promoted to Senior Director – HR at Virtusa, recognizing her outstanding contributions to leadership talent acquisition, strategic human resources management, and organizational growth over more than fourteen years with the company.
Her elevation reflects Virtusa’s continued investment in strengthening its leadership talent ecosystem and acknowledges Latha’s pivotal role in building and scaling executive hiring capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in supporting Virtusa’s growth journey through strategic talent acquisition, leadership hiring, and HR transformation initiatives.
In her current role, Latha leads the Executive and Leadership Hiring function for the APAC and ANZ regions, overseeing recruitment strategies for senior leadership positions across delivery, consulting, and sales functions. She has played a critical role in incubating and scaling Virtusa’s leadership hiring function, establishing robust processes and frameworks that have supported the organization’s growth into a multi-billion-dollar global technology services enterprise.
Prior to focusing on executive hiring, Latha managed the Business Unit Human Resources function for several strategic business units and horizontal functions within Virtusa. In this capacity, she gained extensive experience across performance management, rewards and recognition, talent engagement, employee retention, HR automation, organizational effectiveness, and workforce strategy. Her ability to combine strategic thinking with operational excellence enabled her to contribute meaningfully to mission-critical HR initiatives across the organization.
Over the years, she has worked closely with business and HR leadership teams, providing strategic perspectives on talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and workforce planning. Her contributions have helped strengthen Virtusa’s people practices while supporting business expansion across multiple geographies.
Before joining Virtusa, Latha spent nearly six years with Hexaware Technologies as Manager – Human Resources. There, she served as an HR Business Partner for key strategic business units and horizontal functions, leading core HR initiatives and driving process excellence. She was recognized for championing performance management system automation, introducing rewards and recognition programs, developing mentoring initiatives, and implementing high-potential employee retention strategies. She also acted as an HR consultant for a strategic client, helping design and implement standard operating procedures for HR processes.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Sopra Steria as a Resource Specialist, where she managed end-to-end recruitment for multiple business units and gained expertise in large-scale hiring and rapid workforce ramp-up initiatives. She began her professional journey with Exclusive Search Recruitment Consultants as a Team Lead, managing IT recruitment operations for key clients and leading recruitment teams across multiple technology domains.
With more than two decades of experience spanning executive recruitment, HR business partnering, talent management, leadership hiring, organizational effectiveness, and workforce strategy, Latha’s promotion reflects her sustained contribution to talent leadership and human capital development within the technology industry.
