London, England, United Kingdom, December 2025 – Laura Proudlove has joined NBCUniversal as Vice President Human Resources, NBC News, bringing her rich experience in leading people strategy across the media and creative industries. In her new role, she will be responsible for spearheading HR initiatives that align with NBCUniversal’s global newsroom strategy, culture, and workforce innovation.
Before joining NBCUniversal, Laura Proudlove served for over six years at ITN, where she played a transformative role. Most recently, she led the People function as People Director, reporting directly to the CEO and driving ITN’s people strategy, culture, and operating model through a period of rapid change. Prior to that, she was Head of HR for ITN Productions, Technology & Corporate, managing HR for its global, Oscar-nominated production company and several key corporate functions.
Earlier, she worked with Publicis Groupe for over three years, initially as HR Business Partner at Digitas UK and later as Head of HR at Saatchi & Saatchi. In these roles, she developed HR strategy for high-performing creative teams, introduced diversity and engagement initiatives, and led change management for large client-facing teams.
Before Publicis, Laura held HR leadership roles at Crowdmix, News UK, and ITV, where she was responsible for major talent and culture transformations during times of significant organizational shift. Her early career included roles with GE, where she was the HR lead for unionized manufacturing units, and she underwent formal HR management training with GE in Cincinnati.
