Boston, Massachusetts, United States, November 2025 — State Street has announced the appointment of Laura Sullivan as Managing Director – Global Talent Consultant Lead, Talent Development & Learning. In this key global leadership role, Laura will guide enterprise-wide learning strategy, strengthen the global talent consulting ecosystem, and advance State Street’s transition toward a skills-first organization across its 50,000+ worldwide workforce.
Laura Sullivan most recently served as Vice President – Talent Management, TD&L at State Street, where she led large-scale initiatives to transform the enterprise into a skills-based organization. She oversaw the SkillsFIRST talent strategy, Career Central platform development, internal mobility integration, upskilling frameworks, manager capability building, and high-impact enterprise engagement programs. Her work strengthened career development systems and aligned workforce capabilities to State Street’s strategic priorities.
Before this role, Laura contributed to State Street’s talent innovation agenda as Vice President – Talent Marketplace, optimizing internal mobility, architecting skills strategy, enhancing employee redeployment, and designing communication systems to improve adoption across global markets. She also strengthened employee experience programs while partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Business Partners and business leaders.
Earlier at State Street, Laura served as VP – Client Service Management, DataGX, where she managed global client relationships, directed SLA reporting, collaborated with sales teams, led audit readiness, and built policies and performance systems for client service excellence. She also played a key role in data governance, business intelligence and leadership development across DataGX operations.
Prior to joining State Street, Laura spent more than eleven years at W.B. Mason Company Inc. in multiple leadership roles, including Regional Director of Human Resources, Senior Regional Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Project Manager, and Human Resource Representative, overseeing HR teams, multi-state operations, talent acquisition, safety programs, workforce planning, succession planning, and large-scale organizational initiatives across 29+ locations.
