New York, United States, September 2025 — LeafLink, the nation’s leading B2B cannabis wholesale platform, has announced the appointment of Ashwin Raj as its new Chief Executive Officer. This planned leadership transition signals LeafLink’s commitment to scaling innovation, enhancing platform capabilities, and delivering deeper value to cannabis operators nationwide.
Ashwin Raj brings a wealth of experience from some of the world’s most respected technology and commerce platforms. His recent tenure as CEO of ezCater saw the company expand rapidly into a category-defining enterprise food platform. Prior to that, he served as EVP and Head of Ridesharing at Lyft, where he guided the company through its IPO, navigated pandemic-era disruption, and helped achieve profitability.
Earlier in his career, Raj held senior leadership positions at Amazon, where he led third-party seller services for Amazon Pay, and at Visa, where he was instrumental in expanding mobile payments and digital financial services. This deep expertise across platforms, payments, and regulated environments makes him uniquely positioned to lead LeafLink’s next chapter.
“Joining LeafLink is more than an opportunity, it’s a chance to help shape the future of a rapidly growing industry,” said Ashwin Raj. “I’m inspired by LeafLink’s role as a cornerstone of cannabis commerce, and we’re only beginning to unlock what’s possible. Our commitment is to listen to customers, understand their needs, and deliver solutions that truly help them thrive.”
In his new role, Raj will guide LeafLink’s platform strategy, focusing on building trusted infrastructure and expanding access to modern commerce and financial tools for the cannabis industry. The company’s vision includes raising the bar for compliance, transparency, and efficiency across the supply chain and enabling sustainable scaling through technology and innovation.
Artie Minson, former CEO of LeafLink, expressed confidence in the transition, stating, “Under Ashwin’s leadership, LeafLink will continue our partnership with customers, regulators, and financial institutions to deliver solutions that are safe, compliant, and transformational.”
Ian Loizeaux, Board Member at LeafLink, added, “With Ashwin’s leadership, LeafLink is poised to deepen its role as the connective tissue of cannabis commerce. His track record scaling technology platforms and delivering customer-driven innovation will accelerate LeafLink’s impact on the cannabis ecosystem.”
