BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS — Acreage Holdings proudly announces the promotion of Leanne Jennings to National Director of HR, Retail. Bringing over a decade of human resources expertise to her new role, Leanne’s journey at Acreage Holdings began three years ago and has since been marked by significant achievements and leadership in human resources management.
Career Journey at Acreage Holdings: Leanne joined Acreage Holdings in May 2021 as the Regional Human Resources Manager. Over her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in strategizing HR functions across the company’s regional operations, significantly enhancing employee engagement and optimizing workforce management practices.
Previous Experience: Before her tenure at Acreage Holdings, Leanne served at Primark as the People and Culture Manager from December 2016 to May 2021. In this role, she led HR strategy in collaboration with the retail management team, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and talent development. Prior to this, she provided executive support at Primark US, aiding the company’s expansion in the United States, including setting up the regional office and supporting the launch of the first six stores.
Earlier, Leanne worked at Macy’s as an Administrative Support Team Supervisor, where she enhanced HR and operational functions and was recognized for her leadership in implementing best practices that improved workflow efficiency.
