Jalandhar, Punjab, India, March 2026 — Lovely Professional University (LPU) has elevated Saurabh Aggarwal to Deputy Director of Human Resources. In this role, Aggarwal will continue strengthening LPU’s people strategy with a strong focus on HR analytics, performance architecture, and governance-led HR operations supporting institutional planning, workforce optimization, and compliance.
Aggarwal has been part of Lovely Professional University for nearly 15 years and was most recently serving as Assistant Director of Human Resources. Over this period, he has contributed to building data-led HR practices and performance measurement frameworks, aligned to the university’s academic and administrative priorities.
In his expanded responsibilities, Aggarwal is associated with HR data analysis and workforce planning initiatives that enable evidence-based decision-making. His work includes designing and implementing a Credit-Based Performance Management System (CBPMS) modeled on a CGPA-style framework to support more objective and quantifiable performance evaluation, along with developing KRA/KPI structures aligned to institutional goals.
His scope also spans strategic HR operations—policy formulation, process enhancement, workflow automation, and full-cycle HR functioning—alongside HRIS implementation and continuous improvement to support stronger data accuracy and reporting. Additionally, he has worked on salary structure design and benchmarking, manpower planning and position fixation, and the delivery of dashboards and MIS reports to leadership.
Aggarwal has also supported compliance readiness across statutory, accreditation, and ranking requirements, including NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and AISHE, helping ensure structured documentation and staff-data integrity for institutional reporting.
