Pune, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – Madhura Poonekar has been elevated to India HR Leader – Faurecia Clarion Electronics Engineering Center at FORVIA, underscoring her sustained leadership impact on the organization’s people and talent agenda. In this role, she will lead end-to-end HR strategy for the India Electronics Engineering Center, enabling capability building, scale, and seamless integration with FORVIA’s global operations.
Madhura brings over 18 years of experience across India, the United States, and regions including SEA, SAARC, MENA, and Africa. During her tenure of more than three years with FORVIA, she previously served as Head of HR – India GCC/GBS, where she strengthened HR frameworks for engineering and technology teams, supported transformation initiatives, and aligned people strategy with innovation-led business priorities. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping high-performance and inclusive workplace cultures within the automotive technology ecosystem.
Prior to FORVIA, Madhura spent over eight years with Thermax Limited, holding roles including HR Manager – Power Operations & Maintenance, Talent Acquisition Manager, and International Business Group – HR. She managed global mobility and HR compliance across more than 20 countries and supported engineering-led operations through organization design, employer branding, and SAP-enabled HR processes, building a strong foundation in global HR delivery.
Earlier, she worked with AAF International – Power & Industrial Group as Corporate HR Projects Specialist in the United States, and began her professional journey with Suzlon Energy Ltd. as Executive HR and L&D, where she developed expertise in learning systems and talent management for large industrial workforces.
Madhura holds an MBA in Marketing and Human Resources from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
