Mahesh brings more than two decades of experience in global business development, licensing, strategic alliances, contract manufacturing, and commercial expansion across highly regulated pharmaceutical markets. His expertise spans Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and other international markets, with a strong focus on out-licensing, co-development, technology transfer, and long-term commercial partnerships.
Prior to this elevation, Mahesh served as Vice President & Global Head – Business Development at Invengene Private Limited, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s international partnerships and strengthening its global commercial footprint. Earlier, he was Global Head – Business Development at Inventia Healthcare Limited, leading strategic business development initiatives for the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio.
Before joining Inventia, Mahesh served as Director, Business Development & Licensing – APAC at Alvogen, driving regional licensing strategies and strategic collaborations across Asia-Pacific markets. He also held the position of Regional Head – Business Development (North America, Europe & Latin America) at USV Private Limited, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s finished dosage formulation (FDF) and API business across major regulated markets.
Earlier in his career, Mahesh served as Senior Vice President – Business Development (Europe & North America) at Unimark Remedies Ltd., leading business operations across regulated pharmaceutical markets, and as Deputy General Manager – Business Development (Europe) at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he managed out-licensing, co-development, contract manufacturing, and commercial partnerships across Europe, Canada, Turkey, and other international markets. He began building his global business development career at Cipla Ltd., where he spent over seven years managing business development for finished dosage formulations and APIs across Europe and North America.
Throughout his career, Mahesh has developed deep expertise in Global Business Development, Licensing & Commercialization, Strategic Partnerships, Out-Licensing, Contract Manufacturing, Technology Transfer, Market Expansion, Pharmaceutical Alliances, API & Finished Dosage Formulations, Commercial Strategy, International Business Development, Portfolio Management, Regulatory Market Expansion, Cross-border Negotiations, and Pharmaceutical Growth Strategy.
