Mandy has been a key part of SMSA Africa Logistics Group for more than 14 years, demonstrating consistent leadership and progression across the organization’s human resources function. She joined the company in 2012 as Human Resources Manager, where she established a strong foundation for HR operations and people practices. In 2021, she was promoted to General Manager: Human Capital, leading the organization’s human capital strategy and driving initiatives across talent development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Her elevation to Chief People Officer reflects the significant impact she has made in strengthening the company’s people capabilities and supporting business growth.
Prior to joining SMSA Africa Logistics Group, Mandy served as HR Supervisor at Clientele Life, where she managed the full spectrum of human resources responsibilities across multiple business portfolios. This experience helped build her expertise in strategic HR, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development, forming the foundation of a career dedicated to creating high-performing workplaces.
