Hyderabad, Telangana, India, October 2025 — HFCL Limited has announced the promotion of Mr. Manohar Pol to the position of Head of Manufacturing. With a remarkable career spanning over 26 years in optical fiber cable design, development, and manufacturing, Mr. Pol has been instrumental in driving HFCL’s operational success and innovation in advanced fiber technologies.
In his new role, Mr. Pol will lead manufacturing excellence, process optimization, and innovation-led growth across HFCL’s operations, reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality and technological leadership. His track record includes notable achievements in new product development, process stabilization, and patent filings, underscoring his dedication to advancing the optical fiber industry.
Mr. Pol has been with HFCL Limited for nearly 13 years, most recently serving as General Manager, where he played a crucial role in scaling manufacturing capabilities, enhancing production efficiency and new product development. Before that, he held leadership positions as Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Senior Manager – Production, where he was responsible for product innovation and manufacturing excellence at HFCL’s Goa and Hyderabad facilities.
Prior to joining HFCL, he spent over 13 years at Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), where he worked as Associate Manager – Product Development and Officer – Operations. During his tenure at STL, he gained deep technical expertise in optical fiber technology and contributed to the development of advanced manufacturing processes that shaped the fiber optics industry in India.
