Bhadrak, Odisha, India, July 2026 — FACOR, a Vedanta Group company, has appointed Manoj Kumar Keshari as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Announcing the appointment, Vedanta | FACOR highlighted Manoj’s proven track record in operational leadership, business transformation, and manufacturing excellence, noting that he will play a pivotal role in accelerating FACOR’s growth, enhancing operational performance, and creating sustainable value for customers, employees, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
As Chief Executive Officer, Manoj will lead the company’s overall business strategy, operations, manufacturing excellence, mining and ferro alloys value chain, while driving growth, operational efficiency, ESG performance, and long-term value creation across the organization.
Prior to this appointment, Manoj served as Chief Operating Officer – Cast Metal, Jharsuguda & Chief Operating Officer – Alloys at Vedanta Aluminium, where he was responsible for end-to-end operations across four cast houses at Jharsuguda and one cast house at BALCO. His responsibilities included P&L management, production maximization, cost optimization, product mix optimization, new product development, customer engagement, stakeholder management, people leadership, and project commissioning and ramp-up.
Earlier, he served as Chief Operating Officer – Alloys & SBU Head – Cast House, Jharsuguda, leading Vedanta’s aluminium alloys business while overseeing one of the company’s largest manufacturing operations.
His leadership journey within Vedanta spans more than 17 years, during which he progressed through several senior operational leadership roles, including Associate Vice President, General Manager – Projects & Operations, and Associate General Manager. Throughout this period, he played a key role in commissioning large-scale industrial projects, expanding manufacturing capacity, driving operational excellence, leading engineering and design initiatives, and strengthening commercial performance across Vedanta’s aluminium business.
Before joining Vedanta, Manoj spent over four years with Tata Steel, where he held leadership roles in automation and steel plant projects, managing large-scale industrial automation and modernization initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he served as Assistant Manager at SMS Demag (now SMS group), building expertise in engineering, project execution, and industrial manufacturing technologies.
With nearly three decades of leadership experience across metals, mining, manufacturing, engineering, and large-scale industrial operations, Manoj brings deep expertise in operational transformation, capital project execution, P&L management, and business leadership to his new role at FACOR.
