Barcelona, Spain, September 2024 – Marie Madec has taken on a new role as Head of People (EU) at Aetion. In this position, Marie will lead the People function for Aetion’s European operations, including Spain, the UK, France, and Germany. She will collaborate closely with executive leaders in the U.S. to build local teams, implement company culture, and ensure alignment with labor compliance and business goals across Europe.
Before stepping into her new role, Marie served as People Director (EU) at Aetion for over 3 years, overseeing HR strategy, team building, and the implementation of key operational processes. During this time, she played a pivotal role in the expansion of Aetion in Europe, managing the opening of the EU Headquarters in Barcelona, and supporting the growth of the regional Epidemiology and Engineering teams.
Prior to joining Aetion, she was Human Resources Manager at Alira Health, where she spearheaded HR integrations for acquired companies in Europe and led talent acquisition initiatives that contributed to the company’s rapid growth. Marie also held the role of Career Advisor at EADA Business School, coaching master’s students in their career paths.
Earlier in her career, Marie gained valuable experience in recruitment and HR strategy as a Talent Acquisition Project Manager at Boston Consulting Group and a Talent Acquisition Executive at Wavestone.
