Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands, February 2026 — BUX has appointed Marlou Jenniskens as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as the European neobroker enters its next phase of growth and platform expansion. In her new role, Jenniskens will focus on strengthening BUX’s strategic direction, accelerating product innovation, and scaling the company’s commission-free investing proposition across its key European markets.
Jenniskens brings extensive leadership experience in the financial services sector, with proven expertise across wealth and investment products, customer experience, and enterprise transformation. Her appointment is expected to support BUX in deepening its customer-centric growth strategy while continuing to simplify and democratize investing for new generations of users.
In her new leadership mandate, Marlou Jenniskens takes charge of BUX at a time when neobrokers across Europe are expanding product breadth, compliance maturity, and customer trust-led engagement. Based in Amsterdam, she is expected to guide BUX’s execution priorities with an emphasis on innovation-led scale, stronger go-to-market capability, and a seamless digital investing experience.
Prior to this appointment, Jenniskens spent nearly 16 years at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where she most recently served for over five years as Managing Director (Tribe Lead) – Wealth Products. In this role, she led an agile tribe of business and technology professionals delivering international wealth and investment solutions—building deep expertise in modern banking, product delivery, and transformation execution within a highly regulated environment.
Earlier at ABN AMRO, she served as Lead Customer Experience, focusing on developing new value propositions, partnership tracks, and digital solutions designed to enhance the customer experience of corporate clients. She also contributed to major strategic change initiatives as Transition Lead, where she was responsible for the transformation of Trade & Commodity Finance, strengthening her credentials in enterprise-wide transformation leadership.
Jenniskens also brings strong capital markets exposure, having held the role of Director – Equity Capital Markets, where she supported origination and execution, and served as (Associate) Director, covering energy commodities clients in Europe and CIS, including structuring and negotiation of several financial products. Her international perspective includes interim roles in Singapore, along with early professional training through ABN AMRO’s global trainee pathway.
