With extensive experience in human resources leadership across retail and aviation, she brings a strong track record in talent, compliance, succession planning, employee relations, and business-aligned HR transformation.
Before joining Fourteen Foods, Marva Steed served as Executive Vice President Human Resources at Dufresne Spencer Group, LLC dba Ashley, where she spent more than eleven years as a key member of the executive management team, reporting directly to the CEO. In that role, she drove innovative staffing and HR practices that supported significant revenue growth, led a major annual payroll operation for a diverse workforce, transformed benefits offerings to improve recruitment and retention, and helped build a unified, performance-driven culture. She also led due diligence for mergers and acquisitions covering legal, payroll, HR, and insurance matters, while pioneering corporate values that energized the workforce and contributed to stronger business performance.
Prior to that, she built a substantial career at Pinnacle Airlines Corp., where she served as Director of Human Resources. In this role, she was responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s human resources function, including labor and employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, safety and security, training and development, regulatory and legal strategy, succession planning, performance management, and DOT and FAA drug and alcohol regulatory compliance. Earlier, she also served as Senior Human Resources Manager at the company, further strengthening her HR leadership foundation.
Her career reflects broad and progressive experience across strategic HR leadership, workforce management, culture building, legal and regulatory compliance, training, succession planning, and organizational growth.
