Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden, February 2026 – Electrolux Group has appointed Mattias Ytterstrand as VP HR – Product Organization, marking a significant leadership step as the company strengthens its newly formed global Product organization.
In his new role, Mattias will lead HR across the global Product organization, spanning Procurement, R&D, Product Planning, and Strategy. He will partner closely with Michelle Shi-Verdaasdonk, Chief Product Officer, to help deliver best-in-class products—on spec, on quality, on cost, and on time—while building a high-performance, collaborative environment where people can thrive in roles aligned with their strengths.
Mattias brings over 14 years of leadership experience within Electrolux Group, where he has held multiple senior roles including VP People Tech, Total Rewards, People Transformation, Insights & Analytics, Acting CHRO & Communications, and VP People Technologies & Total Rewards. He has led the company’s digital HR transformation, global rewards strategy, workforce planning, people analytics, and HR PMO, while serving as part of the global HR executive team.
Prior to Electrolux, he served as Vice President Global Compensation & Benefits at Gambro and Vice President Compensation & Benefits at Telenor, where he led executive compensation, global benefits, international mobility, and performance management frameworks. Earlier in his career, he was Business Manager Executive Compensation at HRS / Towers Perrin, leading the Nordic executive compensation practice and advising major multinational organizations.
With deep expertise in HR transformation, total rewards, executive compensation, and global HR leadership, Mattias is well positioned to shape a people-centric, performance-driven Product organization at Electrolux Group.
