Linden, New Jersey, United States, April 2026 — Maya Menon has joined the HR team of TotalEnergies as Director and Head HR – TEMUSA. Her appointment marks an important leadership move in her human resources career and brings to the company a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience across global HR operations, talent strategy, workforce integration, and organizational transformation.
Before joining TotalEnergies, Maya Menon worked independently in a Fractional HR capacity, supporting organizations with human resources expertise and advisory input. Prior to that, she built a long and accomplished career at LTIMindtree, where she served as Associate Vice President – Human Resources. During her tenure, she oversaw HR functions and operations across diverse geographies, ensured compliance with labour laws and global regulations, and led major initiatives across mergers and acquisitions workforce integration, divestitures, and organizational restructuring in the USA and LATAM regions.
In her role at LTIMindtree, she also developed and executed talent management, retention, and succession planning strategies aimed at leadership development and building a high-performance culture. She partnered with centres of excellence across compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, career progression, and reward and recognition, while also championing employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, women in tech, and sustainability initiatives. Her responsibilities further included HR process automation, HRIS optimization, onboarding and offboarding, grievance management, and the use of HR analytics to support decision-making and organizational health across regions.
Earlier in her career, Maya Menon served as Deputy Head – Human Resources at LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech in India. In that role, she led HR for multiple delivery units and service lines, managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding while working closely with business leaders on large-scale HR transformation initiatives aligned with organizational goals. This phase of her career helped deepen her experience in handling complex people challenges, people management best practices, employee engagement, and workforce productivity.
Before that, she worked as Senior Manager – HR at Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd., where she focused on delivering value as a trusted HR business partner. Her work there was centered on talent development, employee engagement, employee relations, performance and compensation management, compliance, and employee surveys, contributing to measurable outcomes and achieving strong retention results within the organization.
Her professional journey reflects a strong progression across strategic HR leadership, organizational change, talent management, compliance, and people transformation. With experience spanning India, the United States, and Latin America, Maya Menon brings a broad international HR perspective to her new role at TotalEnergies.
