Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 – Lupin Limited has appointed Mayuresh Purandare as IT Leader – India BU. In his new role, he will support the organization’s digital transformation and business technology initiatives aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and enabling improved healthcare outcomes.
Sharing his thoughts on the new role, Mayuresh highlighted Lupin’s strong commitment to innovation, healthcare excellence, and digital transformation, describing the opportunity as an exciting step toward enabling impactful technology solutions that support business growth and patient-centric outcomes.
Prior to joining Lupin Limited, Mayuresh Purandare spent nearly seven years with Marico Limited across multiple senior technology leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Head – Sales IT Transformation, Cyber Security and Data Engineering, where he drove major digital transformation initiatives under the company’s “Marico 3.0” strategy, focusing on SAP SD transformation, sales force automation, data engineering, cybersecurity, and analytics modernization.
Earlier at Marico, he also served as Head IT – Infrastructure & Security, leading infrastructure modernization, technology operations, and security initiatives across the organization.
Before Marico, Mayuresh worked with CLP India as Senior Manager – IT, where he led IT transformation initiatives for India operations. He also held leadership positions with Bunge as Senior IT Manager, managing customer-facing applications, IT governance, service delivery, and technology operations across Asia.
Earlier in his career, he worked with organizations including Celebi NAS Airport Services India, Magna Services India, and Sure Field Marketing in London, building expertise across infrastructure management, IT service delivery, applications, project management, and enterprise technology operations.
With deep expertise spanning IT transformation, cybersecurity, infrastructure, SAP ecosystems, analytics, and digital enablement, Mayuresh brings strong cross-industry technology leadership experience to Lupin’s India business operations.
