Bangladesh, June 2024 – Mehnaz Huda has joined Asian University for Women as the new Deputy Director of Human Resources. Huda is enthusiastic about bringing her extensive HR expertise to foster a thriving work environment at the university.
Huda’s most recent role was at JF (Bangladesh) Limited, where she served as the Human Resources Manager for over three and a half years. During her tenure, she excelled in compensation planning, performance appraisal, personnel management, and utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Her effective presentations and strategic HR management significantly contributed to the company’s growth.
Before joining JF (Bangladesh) Limited, Huda worked at Pathao as the Assistant Manager, Human Resources & Culture for nearly two years. In this role, she managed performance appraisals, personnel management, and HRIS, focusing on enhancing the company’s HR practices and culture.
Huda also served as a Lifestyle Consultant – Senior Executive at Sanmar Properties Limited for almost two years, where she specialized in presentations and customer relationship management. Prior to this, she worked at East Delta University in various capacities, including Executive – HR and Administration, Executive – Student Counseling, and Admissions Office Associate, gaining valuable experience in HR, student counseling, and administrative tasks.
Her career began with internships at Mostafa Group of Industries as a Finance Intern and at Maxwell Stamp as a Surveyor, where she conducted surveys to assess land feasibility for economic investment and development.
