Naples, Florida, United States, November 2025 — Moorings Park Communities has announced the appointment of Melea Sawyer as its new Director of Talent and Culture. In this elevated leadership role, Melea will oversee culture-building initiatives, talent management, and the organization’s overall people strategy to support its continued reputation as a premier active retirement living community in Southwest Florida.
Melea Sawyer has been a part of Moorings Park Communities for more than four years, most recently serving as Manager of Learning and Development. During this period, she worked on strengthening organizational capability, enhancing employee engagement, and designing programs that foster continuous learning. Prior to this, she contributed as Talent Acquisition Specialist, where she played a vital role in building strong hiring pipelines and supporting the organization’s growth.
Before joining the senior living sector, Melea worked with Belcan as a Talent Solutions Specialist, where she supported workforce solutions and staffing strategies across various client environments. Her experience at Belcan helped refine her skills in talent assessment, client management, and solution delivery.
Earlier in her career, Melea spent nearly three years at Employer Solutions Resources, LLC as Area Manager of Talent Acquisition and Business Development, where she managed recruitment operations and client relationships across the Naples region. Her leadership strengthened operational performance and improved the firm’s talent management processes.
Melea began her professional journey as Branch Manager at TRP Partners, LLC, where she handled business operations, staffing, and client administration for four years. This foundational experience grounded her expertise in people operations, leadership, and business development.
