Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, July 2025 – Melissa Trelfa has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources at Archway Group, a leading provider of integrated technology and services for family offices, wealth managers, and financial institutions. In this role, Melissa will lead the company’s human capital strategy, culture initiatives, and talent development, supporting Archway’s continued innovation in the financial technology space.
Prior to joining Archway Group, Melissa served as SaaS Human Capital Expert at Exit Point Partners, where she provided strategic HR counsel to SaaS firms navigating leadership transitions, organizational scaling, and workforce optimization. She brought her deep expertise in talent strategy to support founders and investors in shaping high-performing HR functions.
Before that, she held the role of Chief People Officer at Appriss Retail for over three years. In this role, Melissa led HR across North America, the UK, and Poland, successfully navigating organizational transformation including enterprise-wide restructurings, acquisitions, and the separation of Appriss Retail from its parent company. Her work included building out HR strategy, integrating global teams, and supporting CEO-level talent acquisition.
Earlier, Melissa was the Human Resources Director at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, where she executed firmwide HR modernization, including upgrading payroll, benefits, and performance systems while also serving as an executive coach to the board. Prior to that, she was Talent Programs Leader at The Rawlings Group, leading workforce realignment and leadership coaching during the height of the pandemic.
Her extensive HR career also includes leadership and consulting roles with Stay Balanced Coaching, Norton Healthcare, Baptist Health System, eCardio Diagnostics, Humana, thyssenkrupp Materials NA, and General Motors, where she led large-scale organizational development, quality improvement, and HR transformation projects across healthcare, manufacturing, and insurance sectors.
