San Francisco, USA, May 2024 – Gap Inc. appoints Meredith Johnson as Vice President of Human Resources. With over two decades of strategic HR experience, Meredith brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, where she will oversee the company’s HR strategy and initiatives.
Meredith joins Gap Inc. from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she served as a Human Resources Leader, managing HR operations for the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to that, she was VP of People, HR Business Partner, and Head of Employee Relations at First Republic Bank, leading strategic HR initiatives and providing executive coaching for the C-suite.
At Williams-Sonoma, Inc., Meredith was Vice President, People & Talent, and Head of Talent Acquisition. She strategically partnered with C-suite leaders while transforming the talent acquisition team, overseeing recruitment, succession planning, and organizational development. Her earlier experience includes roles at PwC as Manager of Talent Acquisition for the SoCal/Phoenix market and at Hilton Worldwide, where she was Manager of Human Resources and Strategic Sourcing.
