Manila, Philippines, July 2024 – Mery S. has begun her new role as Head of Human Resources at The Aivee Group, bringing extensive experience and a proven track record in human resources management.
Mery S. joins The Aivee Group from Bahay Financial Services, Inc., where she served as Senior Human Resources Manager. In this role, she was instrumental in transforming mortgage and financial services through innovative approaches and driving employee engagement projects. She also handled policy review and improvement, collaborated with department heads for manpower forecasting, and developed sourcing strategies.
Prior to her role at Bahay Financial Services, Mery was a Senior Human Resources Consultant at Kunato, where she provided part-time consultancy services, focusing on coaching, HR operations, and job satisfaction.
She also served as Human Resources Senior Manager at Mind AI, where she drove local company culture, facilitated recruitment and selection processes, created performance management programs, and developed strategic training plans. Mery was a part of the management team and consulted for startups such as Mind AI (Makati) and Triwave Information Technology Corp. (Ortigas).
Mery’s previous experience includes serving as an HR Senior Business Partner at Amber Kinetics, where she supported HR processes, bridged the gap between management and employees, and recruited key talents. She was also Corporate Secretary and Country Human Resources Manager at FinVolution, where she spearheaded HR and business strategies, established business processes, and managed end-to-end HR work for the startup company.
Earlier in her career, Mery held the position of HR Regional Officer at delaware Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd, handling HR operations and recruitment for various entities in the Asia Pacific region. She also worked as an HR Generalist at TaskUs Philippines, focusing on employee relations, administrative hearings, and benefit management.
Her career began at Duty Free Philippines as an HR Coordinator/HR Generalist, where she managed recruitment processes, employee data management, and compensation and benefits. Mery also served as HR & Marketing Head at Firestop Philippines Construction Corp, where she handled payroll, recruitment, performance management, and marketing initiatives.
