Reading, Pennsylvania, United States, September 2025 — Michael Peters has been appointed as Vice President of Talent Management and Talent Acquisition at FirstEnergy, where he will lead enterprise-wide efforts in talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development. This role builds on his extensive career of more than two decades in HR leadership, talent strategy, and organizational development across leading corporations.
Peters most recently served as Interim Head of Talent Management at FirstEnergy, where he supported the executive team on critical workforce strategies, including succession planning and leadership development. In parallel, he founded Domanda Consulting, providing executive-level talent advisory services with a focus on organizational design and leadership development.
Before joining FirstEnergy, he was Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Aramark, where he drove enterprise hiring strategies across diverse business units. He also held senior leadership roles at Qurate Retail Group, serving as Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Head of Talent Acquisition, overseeing talent programs across the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
Earlier, Peters was Principal of Talent Acquisition at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led candidate branding, diversity, and university hiring programs. His eight-year tenure at Comcast included roles as Senior Director of Talent Technology Innovation & Solutions, Senior Director of Talent Acquisition & Leadership Development, and Director of Talent Acquisition, Technology & Diversity, where he played a transformative role in building scalable hiring systems and leadership pipelines.
He began his career with consulting and staffing firms, including Deloitte Consulting, Becker Staffing Services, Synerfac Technical Staffing, and Volt Services Group, as well as early experience as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Penn State Abington College, where he developed recruiting acumen that carried into his corporate career. Peters holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
