Louisville, Kentucky, United States, April 2025 – Michelle Rigby has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at ScionHealth, where she will spearhead the organization’s people strategy across its 79 hospital campuses. In this elevated role, Michelle will focus on cultivating a high-performance culture, advancing workforce engagement, and supporting ScionHealth’s commitment to compassionate care and innovation in healthcare delivery.
Prior to this appointment, Michelle served as VP, People Strategy and Initiatives at ScionHealth, where she played a pivotal role in shaping strategic HR programs and organizational development. She brings over 25 years of progressive leadership experience, with deep expertise in employee relations, training and development, compliance, and healthcare benefits.
Before joining ScionHealth, Michelle held the position of Vice President at Lifepoint Health, where she led HR and compliance programs in a highly regulated environment. Her earlier roles included Director at BluePeak Advisors, AVP at Solid Benefit Guidance, and Director at Catalyst Rx, where she consistently demonstrated her ability to align HR practices with corporate strategy while maintaining regulatory compliance and enhancing employee wellbeing.
Michelle’s HR journey began in roles at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield and ARAG, where she developed foundational expertise in internal audit, fraud investigation, and benefits program design.
