Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, October 2024 – Jubilant Pharmova Ltd. has appointed Avinash Gupta as the Global Head of Talent Development, Organizational Development (OD), and Training. In this role, Avinash will lead the development and implementation of global talent management strategies, organizational growth initiatives, and innovative training programs across the company’s operations. With more than 18 years of industry experience, Avinash will play a key role in enhancing the company’s focus on employee development and organizational excellence.
Prior to joining Jubilant Pharmova, Avinash Gupta was the Director of Learning and Development at Ola Electric, where he built the L&D department from the ground up. He led the creation of a comprehensive Learning and Talent Framework, focusing on upskilling, reskilling, and reducing new hire attrition. His strategic leadership also drove the implementation of digital learning initiatives and created brand and service champions within the company.
Before Ola Electric, Avinash spent over 8 years at Ashok Leyland as the Head of Training, where he developed tailored training programs for executives across various business functions. He also launched initiatives such as “Service Mandi” and contributed to the company’s transformation from BS4 to BS6 standards. His leadership significantly enhanced employee engagement, sales growth, and talent development within the organization.
Earlier, at Tata Motors, Avinash led the Learning and Development function, designing and launching training programs for sales and service teams across multiple regions. He was instrumental in launching the “ITEACH” and “Saksham & Service Edge+” programs, which focused on sales and leadership training. His efforts in training and process improvement led to increased operational efficiency and sales growth for the company.
Avinash’s career began at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., where he was the Manager of Sales Training and Field Sales Development. In this role, he significantly improved the sales process, trained dealer sales teams, and achieved impressive growth in sales performance. His leadership in rural sales development and product promotions contributed to Maruti Suzuki’s success in the Karnataka region.
