Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2024 – Siemens Financial Services has appointed Sikhin Tanu Shaw as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Information Technology. In his new role, Sikhin will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the company’s IT functions, driving technological advancements, and ensuring the security and digital transformation initiatives across Siemens Financial Services in India.
Sikhin brings a wealth of experience in the technology domain, having previously served as Chief Information Officer at Canfin Homes Ltd. for over six years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in transforming Can Fin Homes’ IT landscape, spearheading cybersecurity initiatives, managing regulatory compliance, and migrating the company’s IT workload to the cloud. He successfully implemented several critical software solutions, including Customer Know Your Customer (CKYC) and Risk-Based Internal Audit (RBIA) software, along with the introduction of a wide range of digital solutions for the company’s business operations. His leadership in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure has earned him numerous awards for innovation and excellence.
Prior to Canfin Homes, Sikhin spent over 13 years at Infosys, where he held several leadership roles, including Senior Project Manager. At Infosys, he led key delivery management functions for global banking clients, such as Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. His work encompassed project delivery management, data management, application architecture, and leading business intelligence projects. His significant contribution also included managing the GST India reporting platform and overseeing large-scale recruitment initiatives.
Sikhin’s early career includes a wealth of experience in managing business-critical IT projects and leading teams across multiple geographies. His tenure at Infosys gave him a strong foundation in application architecture, data management, and business intelligence, skills that he has continued to build upon throughout his career.
