Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, May 2026 — Mike Eagles has stepped into the Chief Executive Officer role at LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, marking a significant transition for one of the region’s most respected civic leadership organizations.
Eagles brings more than 15 years of extensive leadership experience from Comcast, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President Human Resources and Deputy General Counsel. In this role, he was a member of Comcast’s senior HR and legal leadership teams, overseeing labor and employee relations, workforce analytics, employee listening strategies, DE&I initiatives, compliance, performance management transformation, and employee engagement programs.
Earlier at Comcast, Eagles served as Vice President of Labor & Employee Relations and Employee Engagement, where he redesigned company-wide engagement systems, transformed performance management infrastructure, modernized employee recognition, and strengthened Comcast’s reputation as a top employer.
He also held the role of Vice President, Human Resources, overseeing HR strategy for Comcast’s Consumer Services Group and global ad-tech businesses, while earlier serving as Executive Director, Labor & Employee Relations.
Beyond Comcast, Eagles has maintained a strong civic and nonprofit leadership presence through board service with LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, Vetri Community Partnership, and the Homeless Advocacy Project, reflecting his deep commitment to civic engagement, social impact, and community transformation.
His longstanding involvement with LEADERSHIP Philadelphia as a board member uniquely positions him to lead the organization’s next chapter while furthering its mission of mobilizing private-sector talent for community service and civic advancement.
