Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — Monalisa Sahu has started a new role as Associate Director – Total Rewards at PepsiCo, strengthening the company’s global rewards and compensation leadership across international markets.
In her current role, Monalisa Sahu is responsible for driving the design and implementation of incentive programs, policies, and total rewards frameworks for frontline associates across LATAM, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and APAC. Operating from the Total Rewards Centre of Excellence, she provides strategic direction to ensure equitable, competitive, and impactful rewards aligned with PepsiCo’s international workforce strategy.
Prior to this elevation, she served as Executive Manager – Total Rewards at PepsiCo, where she played a key role in global compensation initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions support, job architecture, organizational design, and large-scale process transitions. She also led Total Rewards responsibilities for markets such as Ethiopia and Nigeria, supporting regional leadership with market-aligned compensation strategies.
Earlier at PepsiCo, Monalisa Sahu held the role of Manager – Total Rewards, building strong expertise in HR analytics, market benchmarking, and job evaluation while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Before joining PepsiCo, she worked as Compensation and Benefits Specialist at FedEx Express, where she managed annual appraisal budgets, sales incentive frameworks, compensation benchmarking, statutory compliance, and pay scale design for India and Oman.
Earlier in her career, she held senior compensation and HR analytics responsibilities at Angel One (formerly Angel Broking) and began her HR journey at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, gaining strong foundational experience across talent acquisition, employee engagement, rewards, and HR operations. She also completed early professional assignments with Accenture, Idea Cellular Ltd, and Larsen & Toubro Limited.
