Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA, September 2024 – Monika Niroola has started her new position as the Vice President Human Resources, Americas at Joyson Safety Systems, where she will contribute her extensive HR expertise to the company.
Monika recently spent nearly 8 years at GM Financial, holding various roles, including Vice President Human Resources. In her latest role at GM Financial, she supported business growth opportunities, implemented initiatives to meet workforce needs, and collaborated with senior leadership to ensure the company remained one of the most inclusive in the industry.
Before that, Monika served as the Global HR Director at GM Financial for about 1 year, where she provided HR support to international operations across multiple regions, including North America, South America, Australia, and China. She also led talent management and performance management efforts for over 1,400 employees, aligning HR processes with the company’s evolving priorities.
Earlier in her career, Monika held the position of Global Senior HR Manager at GM Financial for approximately 2 years, partnering with HR leaders and Centers of Excellence to manage staffing, employee relations, and retention initiatives across several regions, including North America, South America, and Europe.
Monika also gained experience during her nearly 5-year tenure at Honeywell, where she served as the HR Director Americas, managing a team that supported 14 manufacturing sites across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
