Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, October 2025 — IMT Ghaziabad, a trailblazer in management education for over four decades, hosted its Annual Convocation Ceremony 2025 at its campus in Ghaziabad, celebrating the achievements, resilience, and dedication of the graduating Class of 2025.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Mohit Burman, Chairman, Dabur India Limited, as the Chief Guest, alongside esteemed faculty, alumni, and industry leaders. Drawing from his illustrious career, Mr. Burman delivered an inspiring address that resonated deeply with the graduating cohort.

“Today isn’t just a ceremony, it’s a launchpad,” said Mr. Burman. “You’re not stepping out of IMT; you’re stepping into a world that’s waiting for your ideas, your energy, and your courage to challenge the status quo. The world doesn’t reward perfection, it rewards persistence. You are not just the next generation, you are the now generation.”

Speaking on the evolving business landscape, he emphasized the role of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies in shaping the future, commending IMT Ghaziabad for empowering students with the mindset and skills to thrive in this dynamic era. He encouraged graduates to move forward with “confidence and conscience” as they embark on their professional journeys.

The convocation marked a significant milestone for the Class of 2025, with over 850 students receiving diplomas across PGDM Full Time, PGDM Marketing, PGDM Financial Management, PGDM BFS, PGDM DCP, PGDM ExP, PGDM (Working Executives), and the Fellow Program in Management, underscoring their readiness to assume leadership roles in a dynamic global economy.

Delivering the keynote address, Shri Kamal Nath, Chief Mentor of IMT Ghaziabad, inspired graduates with his reflections on data-driven decision-making, automation, and responsible leadership. “The future is yours to shape, your leadership begins now,” he affirmed, urging graduates to create value through integrity, inclusivity, and sustainable practices.

The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of IMT Ghaziabad’s distinguished alumni:

  • Ms. Charu Kaushal (Class of 1996), Managing Director, Allianz Partners India, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award for her exemplary leadership. She encouraged students to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset and take bold, calculated risks.
  • Mr. Ashish Kapoor (Class of 2015), Head of Growth & Strategy, Mahindra Teqo, was honored with the Young Alumnus Achiever Award for his innovation and resilience. “Real growth begins outside the comfort zone,” he reminded the graduates.

Congratulating the Class of 2025, Dr. Atish Chattopadhyay, Director, IMT Ghaziabad, called it “an extraordinary moment in India’s technological journey,” underlining the nation’s growing leadership in AI and digital transformation.

“The future will not be about what AI can do alone, but what we can do together,” Dr. Chattopadhyay said. He highlighted IMT Ghaziabad’s pioneering efforts in integrating AI into its teaching-learning process, empowering both faculty and students to stay ahead in a rapidly transforming business landscape.

Dr. Chattopadhyay reminded the graduates that leadership today is not only about achievements – it is also about responsibility. He added that as a partner institution of the United Nations, IMT Ghaziabad is proud of its contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals and is perhaps the only top B-school in India offering a 25% scholarship to every female student, along with financial support for those who need it most.

The evening radiated joy, pride, and emotion as families, faculty, and graduates celebrated together. As caps soared skyward, the air was charged with optimism, marking both an end and a new beginning.

With Convocation 2025, IMT Ghaziabad reaffirmed its legacy of nurturing responsible, future-ready leaders individuals equipped not only with knowledge and skill but also with the courage, empathy, and integrity to shape a better, more inclusive world.
