Nandita Godbole Named Head of Marketing at Mercedes-Benz India

Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Mercedes-Benz India has named Nandita Godbole as its Head of Marketing, succeeding Amrit Baid, in a move that reinforces the company’s commitment to customer-centric, data-driven marketing and premium brand growth.

In her new role, Nandita will lead the company’s marketing strategy, brand positioning, customer engagement, media planning, digital marketing, and integrated marketing communications, supporting Mercedes-Benz India’s continued leadership in the luxury automotive segment.

Nandita has been associated with Mercedes-Benz India for the past five years, steadily progressing through a series of leadership roles. Most recently, she served as General Manager – Data Analytics & Systems, where she led data-driven business initiatives, analytics capabilities, and technology-enabled customer insights. Earlier, she was Regional Manager, driving regional business performance, and before that held responsibility for DMP & Media Planning, contributing to customer-centric marketing strategies, digital engagement, and media effectiveness across the business.

Prior to joining Mercedes-Benz India, Nandita was Senior Marketing Communications Specialist at Cummins India Ltd., where she led integrated marketing communications initiatives to strengthen brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.

Earlier, she worked with Unilever in People Relationship Marketing, focusing on customer engagement and relationship marketing strategies. Before that, she spent over five years with TAM Media Research Pvt. Ltd., progressing through multiple leadership roles from Management Trainee to Senior Manager, building deep expertise in media analytics, key account management, consumer insights, marketing intelligence, and strategic client partnerships. These experiences collectively established a strong foundation in marketing, analytics, customer insights, and brand strategy.

Nandita holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University, further strengthening her expertise in strategic marketing and business management.

With over 15 years of experience spanning automotive, FMCG, industrial marketing, media analytics, digital marketing, customer insights, and brand strategy, Nandita is well positioned to lead Mercedes-Benz India’s marketing function as the company continues expanding its premium mobility and luxury customer experience.
