Prior to joining Acuity Knowledge Partners, Narasimhan S L was the Senior Managing Director – Head of Global Talent Acquisition at State Street, where he led global recruitment strategies across all business units and corporate functions. His role focused on building a high-performance talent pipeline, driving diversity and inclusion, and ensuring strategic workforce planning to align with State Street’s growth objectives.
Before this, he served as Managing Director – Head of GHR & Corporate Citizenship, Global Hubs at State Street, overseeing HR strategy for over 18,000 employees across India, Poland, and China. He played a crucial role in talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement while ensuring HR best practices across multiple global hubs. Prior to this, he was Managing Director – Regional Head of HR & Corporate Citizenship, APAC, leading HR functions across 11 countries and supporting a workforce of over 4,500 employees across asset management, asset servicing, and global markets.
Earlier, Narasimhan was Vice President & Head of HR at State Street Global Advisors in India, where he established HR policies, talent acquisition frameworks, and leadership development programs to support the firm’s expansion in the country. Prior to that, he served as Head of Compensation & Benefits and HR Head for Investment Banking at Bank of America, where he was responsible for executive compensation, HR transformation initiatives, and talent management strategies across India.
At the start of his career, he held various HR leadership roles at Mphasis, Tech Mahindra, and Satyam, where he gained experience in HR operations, compensation strategy, employee engagement, and organizational development. His early career laid the foundation for his expertise in global HR management and strategic workforce planning.
