With an impressive career spanning over three decades in the energy sector, Bhatra brings to EET Retail a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success.
Before joining EET Retail, Narayan Bhatra served as the Chief Retail Officer at Nayara Energy, where he was instrumental in establishing India’s second-largest oil and gas company as the nation’s fastest-growing private fuel station network. His extensive career also includes significant management roles at Essar and Reliance Industries, where he was responsible for operations across India and Africa. These roles have honed his expertise in strategic leadership, operational excellence, and market expansion, contributing to his total of more than thirty years in the sector.
Bhatra’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for EET Retail as it embarks on ambitious plans to develop a significant portfolio of Essar-branded fuel retail outlets within the next three years. The company aims to become the UK’s retailer of choice for consumers, with a focus on expanding its network across all regions and exploring potential acquisitions to accelerate growth.
