Washington, United States, August 2024 – Nathan Y. Andres has started his new role as Global Director People & Culture at B Lab, where he will lead the organization’s people and culture strategy on a global scale, ensuring alignment with B Lab’s mission of transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
Before joining B Lab, Nathan was the Co-Founder & Managing Director/Head Coach at L’Au & Co. for nearly 8 years. In this role, he provided co-creative coaching and consulting services across North America, Asia-Pacific, the UK, and the EU. His focus included mental health advocacy, wellness coaching, and business resilience.
In addition to his coaching work, Nathan is also an Author & Speaker for “Your REAL Life,” a book that introduces the REAL model for building authentic resilience. Published in May 2021, the book draws on Nathan’s extensive experience in mental health advocacy and public speaking.
Previously, Nathan held several senior HR roles, including People Director – Asia-Pacific at The Body Shop, where he led the regional people strategy and business results across 300 stores and regional offices in Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Melbourne. He also served as the Global Wellbeing Leader at The Body Shop, driving global strategy and implementing wellness programs.
Nathan has also held senior HR positions at lululemon as Director People & Culture – Asia Pacific, and Sr. Director Human Resources – APMEA at The Marketing Store, North America. His early career included roles at Lane Crawford, Abercrombie & Fitch Co., and Los Angeles Angels.
