Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 — Neeraj Jha has started his new role as Head of Sports Business (Warner Bros. Discovery) – India & South Asia at Warner Bros. Discovery. Based in Gurugram in an on-site capacity, he steps into the role with extensive leadership experience across sports content, programming, acquisition, and broadcast operations, supported by a long career spanning production and media partnerships.
In his journey at Warner Bros. Discovery, Neeraj Jha most recently served as Director (Content, Programming & Acquisition). In that role, he delivered year-on-year EBITDA growth by managing P&L, broadcast operations, and technology capex, while overseeing satellite planning, playout delivery, programming, and on-air promotions. His responsibilities also included content acquisition, content marketing, slot selling, and team leadership.
Earlier, he served as Head of Content & Acquisition (Sports) and also held the role of Head of Content, Programming & Production, On-Air Promo, Partnerships, Acquisition – Eurosport within the broader Discovery ecosystem, leading sports content strategy and IP sourcing for the Eurosport network in South Asia.
Alongside his corporate journey, Neeraj Jha was also a Co-Founder at SEEtalks, an initiative focused on inspirational live talk events, and previously worked as a Freelance (Self employed) professional.
Before joining the Discovery network, he spent over 12 years with TEN Sports Network as AVP – Production, managing live and non-live production operations, programming initiatives, and localization of sports content. His earlier experience includes roles with Zee News as Correspondent / Producer, with E-TV network as Producer & Programme Executive, and with IMG as Assistant Producer, building a strong foundation across sports production and broadcast media.
