Tampa, Florida, United States, April 2025 – Nicole Robinson has taken on the role of Director, Talent Acquisition at Apex Companies, LLC, marking a new chapter in her impressive HR leadership journey. In this role, Nicole will lead the company’s recruitment function, driving strategic hiring initiatives and supporting Apex’s mission to deliver technical excellence and client satisfaction across its nationwide operations.
Prior to joining Apex, Nicole spent nearly nine years at AECOM, most recently serving as AVP, Talent Acquisition, where she led a team supporting the U.S. West Region and delivered more than 1,700 hires across diverse business lines. She also held roles as Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for the Central Region and Talent Acquisition Operations Manager, driving strategic process improvements and developing high-performing teams in a complex matrix environment.
Earlier in her career, Nicole served at Cummins Inc. for over eight years, holding various leadership roles within corporate recruiting. As Global Recruiting Ops Excellence/Executive Recruiter and US College Recruiting Manager, she played a critical role in streamlining hiring strategies and campus initiatives. She also contributed as a Professional Recruiting Manager and Corporate Recruiter, gaining deep expertise across multiple business functions.
Nicole’s professional journey began with roles as Executive Recruiter at Charter Global, Branch Manager at a national staffing firm, and Engineering Recruiter at Hallmark TotalTech. She also held early career positions in HR and career transition support, which laid the foundation for her people-focused leadership approach.
