He will also join the Germany country leadership team, further strengthening the company’s strategic and commercial capabilities in the region.
Niels brings with him more than six years of progressive experience at Pfizer, where he has held diverse leadership roles that have sharpened his expertise in commercial operations, stakeholder management, and field force effectiveness. Prior to this elevation, he served as Customer Facing Effectiveness Lead – Germany, where he successfully implemented performance standards and optimized KPIs to enhance field force effectiveness across the German market.
Before that, he held the position of Healthcare Solution Partner, leading international sales partnerships and developing customer-centric solutions aimed at improving patient care. His earlier assignments at Pfizer, including roles such as Project Manager and Graduate Program Sales & Marketing Associate, allowed him to gain deep operational insights while nurturing vital leadership and problem-solving skills.
In his new capacity as Chief Marketing Office Business Partner, Germany, Niels will be responsible for overseeing a team of seasoned commercial operations colleagues to support Pfizer’s German market. He will lead in-country governance, ensure alignment of local business goals with operational priorities, and drive the company’s mission of creating the world’s most impactful commercial engine with speed and efficiency to reach patients faster.
