Mumbai, Maharashtra, India – November 2024 – Nikhil Tewari has taken on a pivotal role at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC as Senior Director – Talent Acquisition India and Global Head – Talent Insights & Market Intelligence. In this dual-role, Tewari will oversee talent acquisition strategies in India and lead global talent insights, leveraging market intelligence to enhance Ameriprise’s talent strategy worldwide. His vast expertise in executive hiring, leadership assessment, and talent management positions him as a key asset in supporting Ameriprise’s expansion and market positioning.
Before joining Ameriprise, Nikhil Tewari served as Senior Vice President – Talent Acquisition at Citi India, where he was responsible for executive hiring across India and managed the APAC Executive Search Research team. In this role, he implemented strategies to identify and recruit top leadership talent, strengthening Citi’s market position.
Earlier, Tewari held the role of Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Wells Fargo for four years. At Wells Fargo, he was instrumental in managing talent acquisition processes and played a significant role in aligning hiring strategies with the company’s strategic goals.
Before Wells Fargo, he spent eight years at Korn Ferry International as an Associate, where he focused on CXO-level assignments across various sectors. His contributions included partnering with leadership teams to fulfill high-impact roles and building strong relationships with C-suite executives across diverse cultures.
Tewari also worked at ABC Consultants as a Consultant and held a position with Heidrick & Struggles. In these roles, he specialized in talent mapping, executive search, and talent management across global and domestic mandates.
